Training Overview
The Lewis Training System provides structured development from foundational lime handling through to full heritage diagnostics and specialist‑level conservation decision making. Each level combines practical heritage workmanship with moisture‑aware theory and conservation‑aligned standards.

Applicants must demonstrate commitment to correct lime use, safe working practices and conservation‑grade workmanship. Acceptance is based on suitability, experience and alignment with heritage‑safe methods.

Level 1 — Foundation Technician
£1,250 Introduction to lime, moisture fundamentals and safe heritage‑grade preparation.
Level 2 — Heritage Technician
£2,450 Correct repointing methods, substrate behaviour and controlled curing.
Level 3 — Advanced Technician
£3,950 Moisture pathways, salts, breathability and conservation‑grade workmanship.
Level 4 — Diagnostic Technician
£6,500 Full Lewis Diagnostic methodology, moisture mapping, salt analysis and structured reporting.
Level 5 — Heritage Specialist
£9,800 Complex heritage projects, system‑level moisture management and conservation‑aligned decision making.
Full Training Pathway (Levels 1–5)
£19,500 Complete progression through the entire Lewis Training System, including diagnostic development and specialist‑level capability.
Training Delivery Format
